		Membership in the Florida League of International Baccalaureate Schools (FLIBS) organization is a benefit to all IB schools in the state of Florida. 		Currently, FLIBS members are working on several initiatives. These include a proposal to the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) regarding middle years and diploma programs, hosting of International Baccalaureate North America (IBNA) sub-regional leaders meeting in St. Petersburg Beach, Florida and the continued effort to provide representation in the Florida legislature through a full-time lobbyist. Through its efforts to promote excellence in education, FLIBS has emerged as one of the most vital successful subregional organizations in North America.
