Member Benefits

Membership in the Florida League of IB Schools (FLIBS) organization is a benefit to all IB schools in the state of Florida. The price of membership is $200 per year. Click to the right to JOIN FLIBS! Schools that are in application process with IBO are encouraged to JOIN as Friends of FLIBS.

Member schools receive benefits which include:

• Quarterly Meetings in September, December, February and June
• Legislative support with Florida Statutes covering International Baccalaureate Programmes in Florida

Currently, FLIBS members are working on several initiatives. These include a proposal to the International Baccalaureate Organization (IB) regarding middle years and diploma programs, hosting of International Baccalaureate North America (IBNA) sub-regional leaders meeting in St. Petersburg Beach, Florida and the continued effort to provide representation in the Florida legislature through a full-time lobbyist. Through its efforts to promote excellence in education, FLIBS has emerged as one of the most vital successful subregional organizations in North America.
