IB DIPLOMA TEACHER TRAINING WORKSHOPS

Sponsored by The Florida League of International Baccalaureate Schools (IBO/IBNA Approved)

 

Subjects are Level 2 with some Level 3 special topics

Level 2 Workshops are for those teachers who have completed Level 1 workshops and whose schools are authorized to offer the IB Dipoma Programme. The instructors will provide activities beneficial to Level 2 participants.

*LEVEL 3 Session on: * IB & The College Selection and Application Process: A Road Toward Individuation (click here to see description) Level 3 session is designed for Heads of Schools, IB Coordinators, IB Counselors and IB Parents.

Conference Preparation: All workshop participants should bring confirmation letter. Subject guides are provided by FLIBS. *Note: Counseling, Coordination, and Administration do not need subject guides, etc. Workbooks designed by individual subject leaders will be provided by FLIBS.

Registration Fee: $680.00 (USD)

Registration Deadline: June 1, 2008. A $25 late fee for registrations made after June 1, 2008.

  • No refunds for cancellations within 21 days of the workshop date.
  • FLIBS reserves the right to cancel due to low enrollment.
  • All changes or cancellations must be done in writing.
  • We recommend that you do not purchase airfare until your registration is confirmed.
  • Please register as soon as possible since these workshops tend to fill early.
  • Waitlist registrations are processed in order in which they are received. The IB Coordinator will be notified if availability for the subject session opens. Written confirmation by email or fax must be received in a timely manner or offer will become void.

Schedule: The workshop begins with On-Site Registration followed by a Plenary Session at five p.m. You should make plans to arrive in the afternoon of June 21, 2008. The last session ends at noon on the 24th of June, so flights out of Tampa should be arranged to leave accordingly.

 

Tentative Schedule for Session I

1st Day - Registration 1pm to 5pm
    Plenary Session 5pm to 6:30pm
2nd Day - IB Subject Sessions 8:00am to 3:30pm
3rd Day - IB Subject Sessions 8:00am to 3:30pm
4th Day - IB Subject Sessions 8:00am to noon
