IB DIPLOMA TEACHER TRAINING WORKSHOPS

Sponsored by The Florida League of International Baccalaureate Schools (IBO/IBNA Approved)

 

14 Subjects are Level 2 and we offer two Level 3 Sessions

Level 2 Workshops are for those teachers who have completed Level 1 workshops and whose schools are authorized to offer the IB Dipoma Programme. The instructors will provide activities beneficial to Level 2 participants.

Coordination - Level 2 Theory of Knowledge - Level 2

History of the Americas - Level 2

Conference Preparation: All workshop participants should bring confirmation letter. Subject guides are provided by FLIBS. *Note: Counseling, Coordination, and Administration do not need subject guides, etc. Workbooks designed by individual subject leaders will be provided by FLIBS.

Registration Fee: $680.00 (USD)

Registration Deadline: November 15, 2008. A $25 late fee for registrations made after November 15, 2008.

  • We accept credit cards. Information is on the registration form.
  • No refunds for cancellations within 21 days of the workshop date.
  • FLIBS reserves the right to cancel due to low enrollment.
  • All changes or cancellations must be done in writing.
  • We recommend that you do not purchase airfare until your registration is confirmed.
  • Please register as soon as possible since these workshops tend to fill early.
  • Wait list registrations are processed in order in which they are received. The IB Coordinator will be notified if availability for the subject session opens. Written confirmation by email or fax must be received in a timely manner or offer will become void.

Schedule: The workshop begins with On-Site Registration followed by a Plenary Session at five p.m. You should make plans to arrive in the afternoon of December 3, 2008. The last session ends at noon on the 6th of December, so flights out of Tampa should be arranged to leave accordingly.

1st Day - Registration 1pm to 5pm
    Plenary Session 5pm to 6:30pm
2nd Day - IB Subject Sessions 8:00am to 3:30pm
3rd Day - IB Subject Sessions 8:00am to 3:30pm
4th Day - IB Subject Sessions 8:00am to noon
